The announcement reads as follows: We are shocked by the terrorist attacks in Israel. Our hearts go out to the victims and their families.
Since October 7, we have been communicating with Dortmund fans in Israel and numerous partners. On Tuesday, many Dortmund fans and staff attended a solidarity rally in Dortmund to express their shock at the terror attack. Hamas’s call to attack Jews around the world has caused great fear in the Jewish community. We maintain close ties with our friends in the Dortmund Jewish community and beyond.
Borussia Dortmund supports the donation appeal of the Israeli Borussia Dortmund Supporters Organization. It is a fan club made up of a diverse cross-section of Israelis, Christians, Muslims and Jews are all there, sharing their love for Borussia Dortmund and asking for support.
