SportsTalk reported on December 22 that according to Romano, Villarreal intends to introduce Besiktas defender Bailly in the winter window.
Romano wrote: “Villarreal is working on bringing in a central defender in the January transfer window. And consider Bailly as one of the options. According to Castellón Radio, Bailly is preparing to leave Besiktas and Villarreal is paying attention to him. No agreement has been reached yet and it is still in the early stages.”
Besiktas previously announced that Bailly was excluded from the team list due to technical reasons.
