SportsTalk December 22 According to Sky Sports and Reuters special correspondent Peter Hall, the British tycoon Ratcliffe’s acquisition of Manchester United shares may be officially announced today.
The reporter broke the news that Ratcliffe’s deal to acquire Manchester United’s shares has been basically finalized, and an official announcement may even be made today.
Previously reported that Sir Ratcliffe’s Ineos Group will pay 1.25 billion pounds to buy 25% of Manchester United’s shares. Ratcliffe will provide around £245m of additional funding for stadium-related infrastructure works.
Sir Ratcliffe is the founder and chairman of Ineos Group, with a latest net worth of US$15.2 billion.
