SportsTalk, October 21st: The Rockets defeated the Heat 110-104 in today’s preseason game. After the game, Rockets guard Jaylen Green praised teammate Amen Thompson in an interview.
“This guy is so crazy. You will all see the real him this season. He will be really good in the future.” Jay Len Green said.
Armen Thompson, the No. 4 pick of the Rockets, was efficient and impactful on the offensive end and actively fought on the defensive end. He played 25 minutes as a substitute. 6 of 9 shots, 0 of 1 three-pointers, 7 of 9 free throws, 19 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.
