SportsTalk October 30th: 33-year-old Drinkwater announced his retirement in an interview. The player once won the Premier League championship with Leicester City.
Drinkwater said: I would like to announce my retirement from professional football. This has probably been a long time coming, especially last year. But I think now is the time to make it official.
Drinkwall Te is 33 years old and plays the role of midfielder. Drinkwater came from Manchester United’s youth training and has been loaned to Huddersfield, Cardiff City, Watford and Barnsley by Manchester United.
In the 2013-14 season, Drinkwater helped Leicester City break into the Premier League. In the 2015-16 season, he helped Rice City won the Premier League title. In 2017, the player joined Chelsea. Drinkwater has not found his next home since leaving Chelsea in July 2022.
