SportsTalk January 7: After defeating Preston 4-0 in the FA Cup, Chelsea coach Pochettino talked about Sterling’s free kick.
Pochettino said: “After the game I told him: ‘Beckham is shaking’ because he was going to break Beckham Ham’s record. That’s his ability, you can practice free-kicks all day long and after that, it’s about taking the kicks and scoring goals.”
“Frankly speaking, we will practice set pieces. It is not about Sterling doing special training, it is about his ability. Today he scored a free kick against Newcastle United. Scored a free-kick as well, it’s about believing in your ability.”
