Paulo Alves wrote: “To me, the biggest mistake Stone made as a general manager was to give up the ball. Russ was the head coach for too long. We will never truly know how much damage this decision will cause. Our player development has been so bad the past three seasons, and it feels like most of the young Rockets have to start over. Too much wasted Time.”
“If Jaylen Green and Jabari Smith Jr. are drafted by the Thunder, I have a feeling they will be Better players.”
“Now we are in a situation where I’m not sure if Green and Smith Jr. will have enough time and opportunities. To grow into the players they could have been because the window to rebuild is running out. As a fan, this situation pains me.”
