SportsTalk, October 30th: The Colombian Football Association issued a message today to express support for national team player Luis Dias.
Diaz’s parents were kidnapped before. His mother has been rescued, but his father is still in the hands of the kidnappers.
The Colombian Football Federation wrote: “We appeal to those who kidnapped Dias’ father, Luis Manuel Dias. Release him now unconditionally. Football should be peaceful, Diaz, we are with you. Colombia is with you.”
