The home game against Chengdu Chengdu on October 29, 2023 During the game, Wang Gang, a player from our club, fell to the ground and was hit by an opponent’s foreign aid on the right back of his back. After the injury, he was unable to stand and breathe normally. Due to Wang Gang’s own request, the players persisted on the court for about 8 minutes and were eventually replaced because they could not continue the game.
After leaving the field, the medical team found that the player had abnormal symptoms in his ribs and was immediately sent to the hospital for emergency imaging diagnosis via the 120 ambulance. . After a CT examination, it was found that three ribs on the right side were fractured. Since the broken ends were sharp, they were worried about puncturing the lung tissue. The emergency department requested that the patient be kept in the hospital for observation for 6 hours before being reexamined.
The broken end fracture has been separated, the recovery time of conservative fixation treatment is too long and the recovery effect is uncertain, so surgical treatment is recommended.
After communication and agreement with Wang Gang, the player received emergency rib plate internal fixation at Jishuitan Hospital this morning.
