SportsTalk reported on November 17 that George will be fined $35,000 for publicly criticizing referees.
Officials also stated that the amount of the fine took into account George’s history of criticizing referees.
After the Clippers’ 108-111 loss to the Nuggets, George publicly stated to reporters: “I think The penalty was terrible. We had to compete with our opponents and three referees, which was too difficult.”
