The participating teams are divided into 6 groups in the group stage and compete in 9 stadiums, 7 of which have been used during the 2022 Qatar World Cup. The opening and final venue Lusail Stadium has hosted the Qatar World Cup finals.
This will be the third time Qatar has hosted the Asian Cup, having previously hosted Asia’s top football tournament in 1988 and 2011.
