The CBA official website has updated the registration information of foreign players for each team in the new season. Apart from the Jiangsu men’s basketball team, 19 clubs have already registered foreign players.
Among them, the Xinjiang, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Beikong, and Zhejiang teams have three foreign aid configurations, while the Fujian and Jilin teams are currently registered as single foreign aid, while the other teams are all registered as double foreign aid.
In the new season, CBA will continue to follow the foreign aid policy of the previous season. During the regular season, foreign players will execute a maximum of 4 players (up to 4 players) and 4 players per season, with a maximum of 1 player per season;
In the final ranking of the 2022-23 season (excluding Xinjiang), the last four players (Ningbo, Tianjin, Sichuan, Fujian) will execute a maximum of 4 players (up to 5 players) in 4 sessions, with a maximum of 2 players per session in the first three sessions and a maximum of 1 player in the fourth session; During the playoffs, all foreign players from the team will perform a maximum of 4 players (up to a maximum of 4 players per season), with a maximum of 1 player per season.
